Sam is a Los Angeles based designer working across set design, prop styling, and art direction. She was raised in New Jersey by a southern Italian family and relocated to Baltimore to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she received a fine arts degree in textiles. She came to set design after a decade-long career of designing prints for fashion and home, starting her career in Philadelphia before moving to California. She loves exploring color, form, and texture in her compositions. Sam lives on the Eastside of Los Angeles with her partner and two cats. She has a twin brother, enjoys laying on the beach in summer, and loves a good plate of gnocchi. @smargherita
