JoJo Li was born in Beijing, grew up in Chicago, and has lived and worked in New York for over a decade. From her studio in Brooklyn, she has fabricated many sets, crafted countless props, and roamed the streets of her favorite city in search of the perfect objects for the job. Working from a background in art and film, she is always looking for a good composition, an extraordinary material, and a new approach. Her favorite projects balance sculptural still life with a bit of surreal disorder. This carries through to her illustrations, which employ both traditional and digital techniques, and have been commissioned by the likes of Dossier Journal and Random House books. @bossgonecrazy
